“In terms of the more narrow focus of Simpro, we obviously use Etani as a data provider and a platform to deliver close to real-time reporting for our trades using Simpro.  While Simpro is a great job costing system, as soon as you have substantive volume in it it’s very easy for jobs to fall through the cracks, and it doesn’t have a good way of reporting back a lot of the data that is input into it.

We built a Power BI report that within just a few weeks of operation for one client, saved that client $10,000 of fees that would not have been invoice out due to an administrative error, and more than paid for the reports for a year.  Moving forward, the analytics that Power BI and Etani provide will be a key part of our business, and there’s no doubt that there’s a lot of value to be provided to our clients subscribed to our services.
